    Notice he says export only. They do have wrecked cars in these auctions.

    Treasury, Marshals, …
    Treasury, Marshals, & Customs auctions (as here) don’t really sell wrecks. They are mostly newer & upscale cars b/c they are seized from criminals, illegal importers & tax cheats.
    If wrecks are your thing, local police departments, when they conduct impound auctions (we’ll be posting video of those soon) generally auction off working cars 1st (tho not as new as the federal auctions) & then they auction off abandoned wrecks.
    But the vast majority of cars at these auctions are in good condition.
